Exposé 4.6 is almost ready for release.

Among the new features are the following:
  • auto-launching specific albums or photos, and starting slide shows
  • specifying top-level collections making it possible for different pages to use different album sets, but managing all of the albums from the same instance of Album Manager for PHP
  • loading background+foreground images
  • even more look&feel customizations
  • a configuration+artwork set for black/dark backgrounds

You can take a look at the pre-release version on a dark background here

Cool. Good work Ivan!

Am I missing out on any features when using the windows manager? Do you have any plans to upgrade the Album manager for windows or do I have to use the PHP manager?

Hi Ivan,

The demo seems lil slow during transit. Is there something I am missing?

I experienced the slow transit too. You can recreate it by opening an album in FF and clicking on a picture which expands the window... After clicking "go back", further viewing of the album will experience very slow transitions. I did not find the bug in IE. Only FF.

I've discovered the same thing. I believe it's a bug in the new Flash Player in Firefox. It doesn't happen with the old Flash Player 7, or in IE.

Addendum to my previous post: the transitions seem to occur only when the mouse cursor has moved. It's as though the Flash clock runs only when the mouse moves.

Hello, Ivan, you made the best work o´ve seen in the last years about constructiong a gallery for joomla ou standalone in it own URL.... your work is great!!!!!!! I came here to thank you in name of a lot of people that i am sure look for a beautiful and functional layout fot their websites and portfolios and you did their lifes better. I know you do it free and this is the better cause people who have no money to buy have to improvise with nonfunctional things ... thank you a lot, God bless you!!!! I wish you the better things.
